Service Description

We’re looking for those who’d be happy to have their photographs taken whilst throwing to join us for a an evening of fun and learning! We’ve invited Lee Garson, an Aberdeen based photographer, to take some photographs for us - photographs capturing our fun filled classes, which we can use on our website and socials. This 2.5 hour session will cover basic throwing techniques to create functional pieces such as mugs, bowls and vases. This class is suitable for all levels of experience but mostly aimed at beginners. IMPORTANT NOTE: A photographer will be present during this class to capture moments for our social media. By signing up for this class, you acknowledge and agree to be photographed. If you have any concerns, please contact us in advance. This class includes the firing or your work and the glazing 3 of your favourite pieces from a choice of our 3 house glazes. All work will be fired, glazed and ready to collect in 6 weeks. You will be notified by email when your work is ready to collect. Please feel free to drop by the studio over the weekends between 10am-6pm to collect your work, after you have received your email confirmation. Our studio is located in Unit 2C within the Deemouth Artist Studios courtyard. There is limited parking available at the studio on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please do not park in spaces with signs dedicated to specific businesses in the courtyard. Pottery can be unpredictable and sometimes pieces can crack or explode during firing. We cannot guarantee creations will survive 100% of the time.
