Service Description

Join our team in the studio to imagine and create your own clay creature! All you need to bring is your imagination. We will show you some basics in building with clay, and how to add some colourful decoration. Adults and children all welcome though children must be accompanied by an adult. Grown ups are encouraged to get messy and join in, though teas and coffees will be available. Sessions are £30 per person - friends and families welcome - and each participant will be able to collect their clay creature from the studio once it has been fired. Please allow four to six weeks for this. Once it has been 4-6 weeks since your class, please come into the studio over the weekend (10am-6pm) to collect your work! (Pens, pencils and paper will also be available) Any participants under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. If the adult wants to make something too, they must pay full price for a ticket and they will have a separate work station. If you decide on the day that would you like to make something too, we have a card machine to allow for easy payments. This class includes the firing of one of your favourite pieces. Your pieces will be high fired to allow for painting them at home. All work will be fired and ready to collect in 4-6 weeks. We no longer send out emails for collection so please make a note of the date 4-6 weeks after your class. There is limited parking available at the studio on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please do not park in spaces with signs dedicated to specific businesses in the courtyard. Pottery can be unpredictable and sometimes pieces can crack or explode during firing. We cannot guarantee creations will survive 100% of the time.
